I too would like to know where get the older version of TrueSync. I just purchased a data cable from motorola for my v70 and it didn't include the software. Man am i pissed! I have been searching the internet for the past 2 days and have had NO luck what-so-ever. Not even a website where i can purchase the software. If any of you guys know where to go or are willing to burn a copy of the software and mail it to me (I will pay for it) then please please please tell me so. As soon as i get the software i am going to post it on the internet for everyone to download.
Alright.....I FOUND IT!!! If you wish to download TrueSync Plus then go to http://www.helpdesk.uidaho.edu/Software/Default.asp . You might also want to go and download the new update if it is recommended for use with your phone. My dreams have now come true!
I've upgraded my Truesync 3.1, and it can't find my T720i. Apparently it only works with the CDMA version of the T720c. The kit mentioned in the above link even specifically states that this is for CDMA version of the T720. This upgrade also is more like a downgrade, taking away multi-handset synchronizations, and eliminates many previously supported handsets, software, and the like. Way to go MOTO!! Where is the Sony-Ericsson P800 anyway? Anyone get the this to work with a GSM version of the T720? shfawaz
OK guys. As far as I know this is totally legitimate. You can update your V66/V60/T280 TrueSync software to the T720 one by registering at this site. It's Starfish's site, so it must be official. I don't know how long it will be up, so hurry: http://www.starfish.com/private/products/tsplus3.1/upgrade/ (PS if you can speak Spanish, this is a great site: http://www.conectaelmotorola.com/)
Apologies if this is the same site as previously mentioned. Who cares? It works! By the way, you can download an old old version of TrueSync Plus from Motorola Australia (!). You don't need to set it up or anything. Just install it, then go for the update. http://au.motorola.com/mobilephones/customercare/manuals/TrueSyncPlus.zip
