T-Mobile USA unveils two new low-priced family plans BELLEVUE, Wash.—T-Mobile USA Inc. has added two low-priced family plans to its offerings, including one that offers the cheapest price yet for the carrier’s new myFaves calling option. The carrier’s new myFaves family plan includes 1,000 anytime minutes and unlimited calls to five myFaves numbers for $60 per month. Unlimited off-peak calling is not included in the plan, although it is part of all the carrier’s other family myFaves plans. T-Mobile USA continues to offer a myFaves family plan for $70 per month for 700 anytime minutes, plus unlimited off-peak and myFaves calling. T-Mobile USA’s myFaves service offers subscribers a special handset user interface and the option to choose five phone numbers, wireless or wireline, for unlimited calling. The carrier’s other new plan adds a lower entry point to T-Mobile’s regular family plans, with a straight 1,000 minutes (no off-peak unlimited calling) for $50 per month. The carrier’s family plans otherwise start at $60 per month for 700 anytime minutes, plus unlimited off-peak calling. http://www.rcrnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20061206/FREE/61206003/1002
Personally, I am amazed at T-Mobile's aggressive pricing plans and their continuous network improvements across the country. At the end of my Verizon contract, I will have some decisions to make as coverage and pricing with other carriers has gotten quite attractive. While T-Mobile's quarterly numbers have been getting better, I am surprised that they are not adding more customers as they currently are. Their coverage is great in most areas and where it's not, roaming is included. Pricing plans can't be beat either... I think T-Mobile has a great future!
Wirelessly posted (Q's Mobile Device: Opera/8.01 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/3.0.6306/1528; en; U; ssr)) I like the flexibility of TMobile but their coverage isn't all that great in my immediate area... If they added Cingular roaming in my area, they'd be worth considering. We don't have to expect the :devil:s to match these price points. LOL
if T-Mobile lives up to their claims they will have much better coverage and continued better value by the end of '08.....we'll see........but im so excited cuz i love tmobiles value and their network quality........i was really satisfied as well with their CS.....but i switched to the Sprint SERO plan for 2 years..........better coverage and EV-DO cuz T-Mobile doesnt have EDGE in my area yet so im waiting for some upgrades then ill go back
