    Guess you can kinda say "the end of an era" for Danger and the original Sidekick. While I'm sure the new Android version will be an improvement, for many it won't quite be the same! Hope the transition for those having to go through it all will be smooth!

    Hi everybody,
    I'm french, and I have a Sidekick LX 2009. I wonder if I can still have 3G, in france after the 31th May. In fact, I don't have internet on my sidekick, but I can received my e-mail on my fone, and I wonder if this is still possible ???

    I believe it is only being shutdown for customers of T-Mobile USA. I may be mistaken, however.

    Don't be afraid to get out of Danger.

    I got two of the new ones (Sidekick 4G). Granted, they are actually Android phones but do still have some of the Sidekick flavor and that great keyboard - plus a touch screen.

    So far, so good. I was reluctant to switch from my old SERO plan but with TMobile's Family Plan, adding me didn't really increase the cost too much.

    We have had the SKs since they came out April 20 and not a single problem noted. Just don't let your battery charger get too far away.:)
