No. My parents took the Verizon phone so that they now have one since my aunt in Illinois and my uncle and aunt in Michigan all have Verizon.
Yeah. T-Mobile has fair coverage on my campus according to their map. Plus, I looked at the map and their are certain areas on I-75 where it shows no coverage. If there network gets better, then I might consider going with them. But right now, their coverage area isn't too big (at least for me).
Looks like a lot of new roaming coverage was added. This would make T-Mobile a lot more attractive for travelers, and is something they, with time, have to do since Cingular Nation footprint includes a lot of roaming agreements as well, making it a large GSM footprint.
Nothing beats a real-time coverage comparison. Here in Europe, it's not needed since almost all providers in Western Europe tend to be on par.
That's a very good question and a bit difficult to answer. My guess is probably T-Mobile or Vodafone. Vodafone has a greater presence across Europe and even though they lag behind T-Mobile here in Germany, they still dominate in other countries.
T-Mobile has done a great reputation job in Germany, but across Europe, I'd say Vodafone overall since they have strong networks across Europe.
Their network portfolio is a lot more expansive and they have an edge over T-Mobile with their most advanced network in Japan, Vodafone Japan is one advantage T-Mobile can't beat .
