My RAZR V3 displays the time but does not display the date. How do I make it do so, preferably without hacking????????

Try this -> Go to "Settings" (either from the right or left soft-key or the central "Menu" button at the bottom of the screen) -> "Initial Setup -> "Time and Date". From here you should be able to set it to display.

Here's a link to the user manual for the phone: http://www.motorola.com/mdirect/manuals/V3_9501A42A.pdf

    Sir,

The only option my phone has for that setting is to turn the Autoupdate on or off. I do not have any options for display.:(

Temporarily turn "Autoupdate" off. This will allow you to modify date and time changes. Then you can change the date setting to "show" (or "display"). Once you change the settings to your liking, change "Autoupdate" back to ON.

    Sir,

It does not give me any display options when I do that. It allows me to change the date and it allows me to change the format, but it does not give me any options saying "show" or "display":(

OK, I'm going from memory here, as I haven't had the RAZR in years.

Try this: Menu -> Settings -> Personalize -> Home Screen -> Date & Time. See if the display option shows up here. If not, I don't know what else to tell you. I know you can get it back, but without a RAZR in front of me, I can't you how.

If worse comes to worse, try T-Mobile technical support.

Hmm, sorry that didn't work. It seems odd T-Mobile would disable the date display from their version of the RAZR.

At this point, try T-Mo tech support. They may be able to walk you through this. Unless it IS disabled by the phone's firmware, there should be an option to display the date, but where it is in the menu tree is beyond me, as I don't remember all the parts of Motorola's menu setup.
