It is interesting to see how long this will be loyalty only. Right now, IIRC, you have to be a customer for at least 22 months in order to get this offer.
Yes that's their policy, some have even managed to get this plan on top of their corporate discount as well.
I wish I could get the $49.99 Unlimited Plan but since I just signed up for T-Mobile 16 days ago, I am of course not eligible for the plan. Granted the $49.99 My Favs Plan seems to be plenty enough for me but hey why not pay the same thing and get Unlimited Calling!
I got the $49.99 unlimited primary line and the $39.99 unlimited add on. I just ported my parents two numbers from ATT to my T-Mobile account for this plan which netted me two $135 credits. For now, it pays to be loyal. I wouldn't be surprised if competitive pressures cause them to offer this plan more widespread down the road. Seriously, with my only complaint being the lack of ubiquitous 3G coverage, this is the best wireless company I've ever done business with and this is coming from a former Verizon Wireless employee!
Well, I was able to find the answer I was looking for. I was able to sign up with the loyalty plan...thanks to a close family friend who has been with them for 10+ years. Now, I'm stuck, do I want this or keep my iPhone, lol. iPhone is great but, expensive. Hmm...lol what to do? LOL.
Why not have both...Unlock your iphone and use it on our network, or with the Cupcake update for G1 coming next week Get a G1 with the loyalty plan and unlimited data and messaging it's unlimited everything for 75-85 per month, 75 if you're an add a line for 39.99 + 34.99 85 if you're a stand alone for 49.99 + 34.99
How does one get this plan? I logged into My T-Mobile and the only unlimited plan I see, is $99.99 (Individual Unlimited). I've been a postpaid customer since January 2005.
As long as you don't have too many late payments, you should be good if you call them and ask. For some reason, not all the accounts are flagged for the discount automatically.
Sorry I forgot to reply to your question earlier. Glad you found the info you needed in regards to the plan question. You must be on the $39.99 unlimited loyalty add on with your friend, right? Awesome deal even for the individual line @ $49.99 per month.
