Does anyone know what the coverage is like in NW Pennsylvania? Specifically around DuBois/Brookville/Clarion?

It works in Pittsburgh. It look like roaming in the areas you mentioned. Did you check the TMOBILE.com coverage maps? click here

I did and it says it doesn't have coverage in my area. There's a T-Mobile store right nearby however, which I find odd, if they don't have coverage in my area. Also, I've seen a few students around with phones that look like the sidekick. Which is why I thought I should ask someplace.

    What does roaming mean?

You'd be using another provider's network in those areas if you had a T-mobile phone.

Would it cost me more? If so, rough estimate how much more? (I realize prizes may vary depending on a number of things.)

If TMobile has an agreement then nothing extra. You need to ask them.

from t-mobs website it looks like the only places it works even within a few hundred miles of where your talking is youngstown/erie/and pittsburgh. it will work in other areas, but it will be roaming. im not sure how T-mob handles heavy roamers, but im sure you could read their agreement or call a CS rep and ask them.
