They have finally caved! Starts TOMORROW through 31 December! Confirmed via multiple sources on howardforums, plus my source.

Unlimited nights and weekends on Get More (39.99/600), Get More Plus (59.99/800) and Get More Max (99.99/1400) plans. No more 6.99 option.

It is NOT available on the T&T (29.99) or Basic (19.99)plans, nor the family plan, nor the regional 3000 minute plan [IMG]

Also NA on the GM 1000 and GM 5000 plans.

I am guessing that if you are paying for nights, you have to call in to get it changed.

I'm not seeing Unlimited Nights & Weekends for free - it's still $6.99 per month for that option.

The website is not updated yet. People have already signed up. I think it's called "Get More Free" I saw an ad for Simply Wireless, a T-Mobile authorized dealer, in today's Washington Post that showed the new plan (they only advertise the 39.99 plan.)

Yep, there customer care is just wonderful. They switch you over without contract extension, unlike other customers when you change plans and stuff.

Crap. I was hoping they'd do it for the T&T also (that's what I have)... but whatever.

Yes, I do recall the WSJ having some "wonderful" things to report about their customer service dept.

So the free unlimited nights only lasts through Dec. 31? Why would I change plans if it only lasts a month?

No, it lasts until you take it off your plan. You can only sign up for it through the holidays though.

Thanks for the information. I just called 611 and added it to my account. They told me now it basically extends my weekends using the free night time, the weekend starts at 9pm Fridays and does not end until 7am Mondays, instead of the midnight Friday to midnight Sunday as I had before the phone call to customer service (611).

It did not extend my contract, which ends in January, and then it just goes to month to month keeping everying the same as it is now. I can just keep using it as it is today until a better rate plan comes along, then I can get the better plan (if there will be one) in the future.

For me 600 anytime and unlimited nights and weekends are more than I will probably ever use.

Good, I'm glad you got everything you need. Isn't T-Mobile just great.

Also, by the way, when you start going month-to-month, that would be a great time for you to do a handset upgrade if you want to. They give you great deals when you're out of contract. I got my S105 last week for $225. I'm getting my mother a Siemens M46 next week, for only $94.

When you call for what, Free Night?

Just tell the Rep you want the Unlimited night added to your plan for free. Make sure you specify for free.

    both are tempting deals.
    any cool things about it?
how did u get it soo cheap from Tmobile?
u just call them and ask them to buy another phone??
and they give u a deal??

I love the S105 over the 7210. The features are about the same, but they both have their above and beyind features; Like the S105 has a 65,000 colors diaplay, and the 7210 has an outstanding speakerphone. When it comes to being upgradeable, the 7210 has the S105 beat, as Nokia is developing more and more accessories for this product. For example, I just received the Nokia Camera Headsets in-stock. Samsung has nothing like this for the S105. However also, the S105 has better ringtones than the 7210. So, it really boils down to your preference of flip-phone versus candy-bar style, and your preference for things like cameras and things.

I think the real reason why I got the S105, is because I have always wanted a flip-phone, and this just happened to be the one with the most features that I liked.

I just called T-Mobile and asked what price they could give me on the Samsung S105, and they told me $225, and not expexting the price to be that cheap, I was astonished, and just told them I'll take it.
I think I got that cheap of a deal, because I was out of contract, and they wanted to make sure I was going to be around for another year. They probably didn't know how much I love them (T-Mobile), and that I would never leave them anyways, LOL.

That unlimited n&w option finally puts T-Mobile in the same line with the rest. Shame on AT&T for having such horrible GSM plans. Too expensive and bad coverage. T-Mobile beats them in every aspect.

The keypad is not a bother, unless you are worried about messing up. Just type normal, and you'll be ok.

They still haven't realized that customers look for good price and service as a priority over recognized brand name.
