t mobile coverage in North Lake Tahoe, kings beach, Northstar, Squaw

    hi,

    Does anyone have experience with Tmobile in Tahoe? North Shore around Kings beach, incline? Squaw, North star?

    Not recently, but about 4-5 years ago it was mostly non-existent on the slopes, passable in the city. It is possible they have improved since then.

    There are some mappings of that area on Cellumap.

    The road going there from Sacramento looks to have T-Mobile 2G (GSM) coverage:

    And altho there isn't much more info mapped, there are some points shown with strong T-Mobile 3G signal in the center of Carson City and north Reno, so I would guess there is at least decent coverage in those areas.

    It's not exactly the area you asked about, but since the surrounding areas seem to be covered, I would say there is a good chance T-Mobile has coverage there as well.
    If you have an Android phone, or BlackBerry, it would be good if you downloaded the Cellumap app (free) and helped map out the rest of the area :)
