I recently moved to California and my aunt, who lives there, got me a Verizon LG VX5200 under her family plan. The thing is, I don't really like the phone. It doesn't have many features, including receiving/changing new ringtones. Is there a way that I can switch a phone without my aunt, the account holder of the family plan, knowing???
That a privilege for the account owner to give to a user (at Cingular) as part of the account info the CS reps see. You could call and inquire about it, but if you can't get any info you sure can't make changes! Ask nicely for her consent (and time on the phone to Customer Service). Promise to pay any additional charges and fees. There's your action plan. COtech
