Switching Phone..What Info is Needed?

    Hey Guys,

    I'm going to be calling in to switch my current service from my LGVX3200 to a RAZR, what information should I have ready for the Alltel rep when I call in?

    I know that I need the ESN and model number of phone, is that all it takes?

    That is all you need. If you don't know how to program the new phone they will walk you through it. Be sure to call from a different phone.

    Now for the real question...what programming steps will they walk me through?

    I need to know so I can walk through the process myself first (without changing anything) so that I'm ready once I'm on the phone.

    Maybe not even the steps, just what needs to be accomplished.

    They will have you edit the NAM on the phone by accessing the programming menu. 74663# or something similar. They will tell you what to put in, it's pretty simple really. You shouldn't have any trouble even if you don't practice it.
