Maybe it's time to elect a new Sprint Moderator?

I'll probably be taking my VZW number to Sprint in January when my contract is up. Now that I know I make use of both my lines, I won't have an issue signing a 2 yr contract with Sprint.

What are you talking about? You have the Master CEO of WA on Sprint too. ;)

By the way, TNDan, if it's cheaper and has better coverage, you made a wise choice. Congrats! :D

As for me, if I ever switch from Cingular it can only be to Verizon. I can't stand all the holes the other carriers have here in NJ especially at home and at work.

If Cingular continues its pricing trend, customers will react and eventually they'll come down from their cloud. It's all a matter of time.

Hopefully. Honestly, in many places Cingular is not better than Verizon anyway--yet IMO they are priced expensive. Family plans now suck unless one uses a lot of minutes. New Every Two is a *much* better deal than a 2-year with Cingular (free nokia 6010 vs. free v710 on a 2yr renewel). It's impossible to find a good deal (ie free) on Cingular almost anywhere. I think they'll continue to lose long-term customers.

I would tend to be in agreement w/ this statement. My Coverage is excellent everywhere I need it to be, so why should I spend (waste) money needlessly on a 2nd line and/or carrier...

No, That I understand. Thats fine. But for myself, why would I myself need more than 1 carrier simultaneously if my primary carrier works for me??? That's all I'm saying...

We used to have 4 in my family at the same time(and only 3 who carried them). :)
I also still have three European SIM Cards that are active:
    Vodafone D2 in Germany
    Swisscom Mobile in Switzerland
    Airtel-Vodafone in Spain.

nothing wrong w/ trying out a different network!!! When I did it, I was seeing if Cingular would be good enough for me. But it wasn't at this stage in the game...

    Exactly. ;)

That is why I bought a Tracfone.

I will compare two carriers this summer when I go on vacation and then write a review when I get back. :)

Andy, how much does it cost you to still have three European SIM Cards active?

And don't you have to use them once in a while to keep them active or am I wrong?

I know people on various forums that have up to 3-4 different phones and carriers simply because they're wireless junkies. lol That's what I can't understand. That must cost some big $$.

Yep I bet it does. However, some people go out and spend a fortune on a new car, or prostitutes, or huge HDTV's all the time. Everyone has something that drains their money that they enjoy. Most of us don't take cells that far....but we all take something too far really. Just human nature.

    I've actually turned into a phone-junkie.

I fully intended riding out my current VZW 2-yr contract w/ just the 4400 I started with, but my order for a VZW Treo650 off P1's website now makes my tally 3 phones in almost 2 years. Not as excessive as alot of other peeps, but excessive for me none-the-less.

The good part is I didn't extend my contract since I purchase @ P1's website for full retail less 15%. I will still be in the drivers seat, going month-to-month w/ VZW come November!!! I'm happy!!! :D

You wouldn't if you worked for them...or had to go into one of their retail stores are realize they didn't offer the same plans as available in Sprint Corporate markets.
