    Not too bad today here.

    At 2:30p it is 96 deg with the high of 94 for today, oooops on that forcast. With the relative humidity of 45%.

    It has finally cooled down for the last part of the week although the forecast has predicted more hot days to come next week. At least I have a cool breeze blowing through my apartment now :D.

    It's a miracle!!!:highclap: Our heat wave has finally broken.

    It was only 93 today, though the humidity was quite high, but it felt so much cooler than it has been in weeks. I've gotten so used to 110+ degree heat ovet the past month that temps in the 90's are cause for a celebration!

    Last night at 9pm it was 78, which is twenty degrees cooler than it had been the past week or so at night. It was heaven outside.

    I'm sure the heat will return but I will enjoy this nice cooling trend for however long it lasts.

    This slight cool down I will enjoy a lot. It only got up to 106 yesterday, humidity was a little higher. But for this weekend they are forcasting temps to be a couple of degrees under the century mark. :D Last night we had a awsome electrical show. With the rain we got to from it, it cooled down nicely. Right now it's 81, we had been running in the mid 90's for our low. :D

    at 9:30a it is 86 deg with humidity of 76%. The high is supposed to be 100 today.

    You DID take pictures of the electrical storm to share with everyone, right?

    I think electrical storms are awesome, but can be extremely dangerous. Seen tooo many homes/businesses catch fire and burn down by electrical storms. Plus knock out expensive electronic equipment.

    It has been wonderful here, the past 5 days, in Southern California. Once the heat wave broke it has cooled down tremendously.

    Temps dropped nearly 40 degrees (from the 110's) from where they had been. We have been in the 70's to low 80's. Nights have been in the 60's.

    It is very humid, though!! Humidity levels have been hovering around 70% to 90% and overcast constantly. I LOVE IT!!!:inlove:

    I know it will get screaming hot again, since our summer lasts until October, but this cool down has been a welcome relief from nearly two months of oppresive, non-stop heat.

    Ironically our ocean temperature got as high as 75 degrees!! This is unheard of out here. Blame it on global warming, I guess...:dunno:

    Here are the temperature readings from my car:

    1. Yesterday 7/31/06- 12:15 pm
    2. Today 8/1/06 - 12:30 pm
    2. Last winter - 12/07/05 - 9:00 am.

    Note:
    1. We were 10 degrees warmer than Gamer's FL yesterday.
    2. Buickman has promised to send the cooler temps they are having today, down my way...:D

    Right now it's 84 deg with realtive humidity of 66%

    High today is supposed to get around 98 with 30% chance of rain today, Monday and Tuesday. The rain would be nice.

    Right now, at http://www.weather.com it says, 106°F Fair Feels Like 105°F I don't know how it could feel cooler than it is but I don't think one degree matters much.

    For the first time in several months I actually had to put a light jacket on last night when I went out for my walk. Probably around 60 out, but with the weather we've been having it felt like it was 50.

    We've been staying pretty decent so far. We did have a week or two of higher weather. It was 100, 103, and 105 one weekend. I heard on the news that it said that last weekend here in oregon was the best summer weather to be in for the nation. So I'm happy, and I'm sorry you guys are so hot out there! Yesterday is was 89-90...and I was out in it! I felt it!
