Have one for me, too. Since I am not 'supposed' to drink for health reasons.

I remember back in the early 90s when I was about 5 or 6 in central Illinois that our afternoon temperature for a couple of days during July was 105 with a heat index of 110-115 with 70 or so percent humidity.

So all I can say is I would rather be in a dry heat place with hot temperatures than in a high humidity place with hot temperatures (70% or above). Because when I was out west in Arizona with my family a couple of years ago the heat felt "cooler" with the low humidity.

We crossed the 100° mark yesterday and today. Needless to say, I'm glad that I've been spared a sunburn so far :D

It's supposed to get up to 95 today and 96 2moro in the FL panhandle; the rain saved me yesterday from the heat (or I just didn't notice the heat)... right now it's 93. I must be getting off lightly compared to the people out west lol

It was a relatively moderate 97 in metro Boston today, but it sure didn't feel cool. It was hot as the . Now 6 PM and still 95.

The monsoon thunderclouds rolled into the Inland Empire area yesterday, unfortunately it brought in un-California-like, more East Coast-like, humidity.

The problem was that we still hit 107 yesterday, though things did cool off quickly (to about 90).

Today it was sunny, hot, and unbelievably humid. Though we have a more arid type of humidity versus that saturated East Coast kind, it was still very uncomfortable.

Today's high was 105, with the heat index making it feel like 112. Our :censored: 100+ degree heat wave continues.

Think cool thoughts of ice cream, snow, air conditioning, cold showers...:googlyeye
