Well, only because Samsung continues to lie, my S7-Edge is still on version 6. (They absolutely, positively promised a January update. Now, half-way through February, I'm reading that some are finally getting it.)
Some on the AT&T variant? I assume that's the one you have. AT&T is notorious for delaying anything they can get their hands on. I think the only manufacturer that managed to tell them to take a hike was Apple.
@dmapr: Yes, on ATT. The only other thing I have is that Verizon mobile hotspot. BTW, update: Surprisingly, using it sparingly, my 1GB/month did manage to last me a whole month. I didn't need to make a stop in ER in January, so I'm still waiting to see what happens. I found that paired to my phone, it only used a single-digit meg in the period of an hour. Paired to my laptop, it easily gobbled up 100mb. (I pair it to my laptop when paying bills.) The one thing I don't like about the plan is that there is no way to pay for extra data within the month. You have to change the data plan. @palandri: Wow. Them there ain't no "alternative facts." Them there is alternative universe! http://images.techtimes.com/data/images/full/164395/universe.jpg
@KevinJames, Samsung used to make firmware updates available via Kies, is that no longer the case? Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
@dmapr: I used to do it that way. I guess I just got lazy and forgot. The OTA solution is preferable.
I usually don't have the patience to wait for the OTA This month I decided to wait it out to check the nougat (supposedly improved) process. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
