Verizon finally unlocked the GPS on WinMo phones (ie: omnia, saga and the touch pro) that they promised that they would earlier in the year.

LBS includes GPS and tower ID which i tested with Google Maps. Bing still has problems properly locating me without the help of GPS (ie Bing has trouble reading tower data). I haven't really noticed any aGPS help as the satellite lock still takes longer then i would have liked.

I also have not been able to find a way to turn on XTRA....

Google still doesn't read location data on WM like it does for the iphone: Official Google Mobile Blog: Search with My Location for iPhone 3.0. And All that Jazz

Does this include the XV6900? Because I just upgraded to it.... hmmm.... also, if it dosen't, would the Verizon "Worry-Free Guarentee" let me return it for another one?

That may require a bit of a quick google search will yield results, albeit they may not be offical.

    try here: http://www.wmexperts.com/official-61-rom-released-verizon-xv6900
    and here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2877597 -or- http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=VerizonAGPSFix

But yes, if you're still in the trial period, you can always switch your phone!
