updates are taking place to the billing system on the website............ive been watching some suttle backstage changes to the website...........domains have been switching around particularly the Upgrade Storefront and the My Account obviously...........what ive noticed though was that my mom was switched from P2K to ENSEMBLE and when i signed in for her online one day it just asked to enter in a new username password and her name..... i did that and clicked submit and she had a brandnew MySprint...........but then i tried to sign in today and it said th system was temporarily unavailable so i tried to re-register her and the MySprint is switching over to the Nextel domain..... has anyone else noticed that they have been using the Sprint domain for the informational part of the site but favoring the Nextel domain for the storefront and all the technical stuff like upgrades purchases online billing and such?
I have noticed the changes, and also had some difficulty. We have nextel and were changed to the MySprint account without changing anything, but now..... We did a phone swap a few weeks ago, I did it over the phon with cs, but the website will not recognize the phones. I have called and double checked- they have the right sim info for all the phones, and they said it should work on the internet. Hopefully in the long run, whatever they are doing now, things will be much better.
in the long run it should be...............the billing system changes are supposed to be finished by this October and hopefully by then all the glitches in the online system will be ironed out..........but of course there is only gonna be need for one system..............the real glitch is trying to make P2K on the Sprint side to work the ENSEMBLE billing system (which is the one they are switching everyone to)on the Sprint side and the ENSEMBLE on the Nextel side...............they still havent gotten everything onto one domain yet............can be really confusing considering they have pretty much dropped Nextel from the advertising slogan and campaigns......... but as far as i can tell they are now running ENSEMBLE on the Nextel domain like everything else on that site and it seems that the Nextel side seems to run a lot more smoothly than the Sprint side.............when they finish with the billing system migration i think they should drop the Sprint site altogether cuz i think Nextel really had it goin for them with their original website design............just keep the current colors so basically. 1. new upgrade storefront 2. ENSEMBLE now being run on the Nextel domain. 3. as well as the rest of the storefront the Sprint domain is now almost purely informational and nothing there except maybe the Digital Lounge but that interfaces with the Nextel side for login eventually anyway
what your online account? Neither have i....im sure that im still on P2K but the migration is random and isnt estimated to be done for another 2-3 months
ive also seen some changes to the SERO storefront over the past several months...........they atrted out running it all through InPhonic which many know can prove to be a hassle.........then they switched it to an informational page with a 1800 number while they were doing major site updates.........now they are hosting an Employee Referral Storefront which is a nice change....
I thought they were eliminating or at least phasing out the Nextel brand? If so, it seems a little weird to be moving the backend systems to the nextel.com domain.
well the storefront program that the NEXTEL domain was outfitted with is more conducive to what Sprint had in mind............i can imagine that after almost everything is switched over the domains will be updated but i would think that the domains would be the last thing Sprint is worried about...................people look at headers not domains..........or at least the regular surfer doesnt
