Sprint V3m Razr fails to software update OTA

I hope it is not a case of google inadequacies.
I can't believe I would be the only person with this error, but
here goes.


Phone Info-->Version 24.2_00.35.00R
I see that the latest that most are posting are 24.2_00.37.00R

However, when I
Phone Info-->Update Phone SW

I get an error message:
Error 500: No UA Profile found for device {0}


Tried:
Reset phone.
Remove battery for several minutes
Factory reset the phone to original out of box state

I have spent a lot of time on the phone with Sprint tech support, and they told me that 37 is not officially out yet, and that it is not available for download OTA...but that there should be a newer version within a week or so (this was 11/25).

I also took it in to a sprint store that was also a repair center, and they said they did not have the software to update this particular phone yet.

The only change I have made to the phone was the seem edit to add the M to the V3mM string to get MPT to work (which it successfully accomplished).

Though, I am pretty sure the update phone SW was failing before the seem edit. However, I am about to put it back to the way it was in despiration.

Any other thoughts or suggestions for me to try?

That was it. Taking the M back off allowed me to update my software...
