whatever you do, don't go in there telling them how great you think Verizon is...........lol good luck! BTW, changed my calling plan to F/C America 700 anytime, unlimited n/w, roaming for $55, plus i have 2 months u/l anytime minutes, vision, voice dialing. yes, i'm like a new customer now, and i don't want to hear about your retention plans..
Who here has a retention plan? Not I! Maybe Larry does. Tony...why not get the free RL too? Don't you want to milk it for all it's worth??
Good luck! If I decide on Sprint, I def. would drive up there for ya! Just like if I stayed with Verizon (not bloody likely) I'd drive to Kraniums store . Gotta support the WA family!
haha...RL is free for the first 2 mos just like Vision. anytime it is added it will also come with a credit for 2 mos. You
No I don't have a retention plan but I got one for my brother because he needed a better deal and talks a lot more than I do. I coud get a retention plan for myself if I wanted but I don't want one or need one.
Not that I'm trying to persuade you or anything but: Go with Sprint! And pick me to refer you please.
Lol, I think Cingular just won me over. Cingular is going to have a 7.99 plan with 250 SMS, 1mb WIX, and 50 MMS. That's all I need, could use more SMS and less MMS, but that plan is nice. Add some fast forward and the 40$ national plan and Cingular actually does "fit me best". Do they have refferals I wonder? And I swear that data plan better still be around May 18th when i port over
They are all evil! I am debating comming back to Sprint. The price drop on the 500 minute plan & the Toshiba VM4050 has really cought my eye. But so has the new Cingular Media plans.
Hey Budney, Yeah Sprint is looking more attractive all the time with the new plans, phones, SMS, better coverage, RL, and best data services. But I have to say the Toshiba 4050 is kind of overrated for the price. If you don't mind the crappy external display and the low earpiece volume it is a pretty decent phone. It does have the best color screen by far.
Cingular Wireless is definately coming out with some great plans. Unlimited MTM Minutes are now free on Nation GSM Plans $49.99 and above. The new Data/Text Plans will be coming out soon too. Cingular truely does fit you best Airb
Yes they are! The VM4050 seems to be getting fairly good reviews las of late over at SU. The reason I like it is it's almost like a smartphone with all the features it has, and that big screen. The only other phone I really want is the i500 ($600), so the VM4050 ($330) looks sweet for the price, size, features it has. I think I may go up to Vegas tomorrow to look at the phones & do some shopping. Also I should be able to get the rebate on the phone. If not, my PPCPE should pay of all of VM4050. And the low volume in the earpiece shouldn't be a problem. I have a V400 which has very low earpiece volume, as do most GSM phone when comparing them to CDMA phones. Cingular plans are competitive when it comes to anytime minutes, but where they accel is in M2M. Most of my family is on Cingular and are all on older plans. For us the new plans arn't worth switching to. As we have plent of minutes to use, even when we double dip. And the new plans would cost more because of the add-a-phone price, $20. Also it is becomming a reality that the new Data/Text plans are for phone only, and it sounds like they will inforce it simular to Sprint. But I would have to say that Cingular won't be as lenient as Sprint is, as the need the money for the AT&T acquisition.
