I would like to buy someone's SERO plan but I don't know how it works. I am currently with T-Mobile Pre-paid using a dumbphone and my friend who uses the Palm Pre will upgrade to an iPhone 4s. I will be inheriting his Sprint Palm Pre. How can I retain my old number and port it to the Palm Pre using a SERO plan that I'll buy from a third party.

 

Have two SERO plans (one SERO-P, one regular, but can make them whatever you want if you provide proper phone for activation) for immediate transfer. Not upgrade eligible. Under contract until approx 10/2013.

Looking for $175 for both, OBO. Prefer email at REMOVED, but PM does fine too.

 

Your friend has to call sprint and say release Palm Pre ESN # to be used / activated by someone else. Next step is porting your number from t-mobile pre-paid line to new Sprint account. Now the hard part *calling SERO support 3-way with the donor and trying to do the TOL/retaining SERO status.

I feel like I'm about to pull my hair out.

At the moment of Daylight Savings time, my phone stopped working. It startted looking for a signal and never found one. After 2 weeks of that, it just striaght up died and will not come back on. I have an 11 year old account with them that has never been changed. I have an 8 year old phone that I bought from Staples. I've never received an upgrade of any kind in 11 years. NEver asked for one.

My mom has a SERO account that she can no longer afford. When she called to cancel 2 months ago, the rep asked, "Is there anyone who can take over the account for you?"

So when my phone died, we thought, "Oh yeah, lets have me take over mom's account."

Well, chat rep said we could, but two e-mails reps have said no.

Does anyone know who we speak to about this? I'd hate to cancel my account after 11 years.

 

prncsnyc your in better situation compare to me because I still have 20 months on my SERO-P and I want to get rid of it so bad but don't want to pay the ETF $200.

So I got two PMs already, both telling me that Sprint CS will no longer allow TOL of SERO plans. Need to confirm with others. Maybe i'll chack at the SprintUsers forum.

 

I think persistence is the key. I was able to complete a TOL last week. You may have to be an existing Sprint customer.
