I have an original $30 SERO plan for sell (can easily be upgraded to the $40 & $50 sero plans)

    $30/ month
    500 anytime minutes
    Unlimited Data
    Unlimited Text Messaging
    Unlimited Picture Mail
    Unlimited Night 7pm
    Unlimited Weekends

Contract expires on 2/23/2012 and has the $150 phone discount offer available now. With this plan, the iPhone 4s will cost $50/month plus tax. You can get the iPhone 4s for $199 after the $150 discount. This is by far the cheapest iPhone plan available on any carrier when you include the UNLIMITED data and texts.

I will am wanting $140 firm through paypal. You can pay half before transfer and the remaining half after the transfer is complete.

    PM me please.

Well I got a SEROP plan and did a TOL and Sprint will NOT let me activate a new phone no matter what I try. I did the initial transfer to an old flip phone and just bought an EVO shift and after 2 hours and talking to about 6 different reps they keep telling me I need to change plans. So now I am sick of Sprint and would like to get rid of SERO but I can't loose the number. Is there a way to do this with me keeping my number?

Well, What would happen is the account rep would need to change your number (I know I know, don't freak out) Then the TOL would be done, and then she'd have to create a temporary number, then try to get a retrieval... It's a simple process, but way to complicated for most of these reps. Trust me, I used to be a Supervisor. It requires more effore than any of these people can exert and more know how to than these people have. The rep would end up having to open a chat, and it would take several hours to retrieve it actually.

NOW All of this can only happen if the number you want to keep is an original Sprint number. If you had ported the number from a different carrier like Verizon etc. it will immediately be released to that company.

If it is a Sprint number it will be stored and available for retrieval on that subscription for 60 days, but since that subscription is going to another account, you'll have to open that request to place it on a temp number.

When I did the TOL I had that persons number but the next day I went to port my number in from another carrier. To do that they had to give me a temporary number in the same area code. Once that was complete we were then able to port in a new number no problem. So that part is done and what's odd is I got a friends ESN to an HTC hero and that will take just fine. It's this EVO Shift that it will not take even though it has a clear ESN. So I'm guessing it will do this with any 4G device.

What's probably happening is the Hero isn't a 4G capable device. When the 4G devices came out we had to add a $10.00 add on to allow for 4G data etc. When the Palm Pre came out we weren't supposed to be able to add them to SERO or any plan other than the new Everything Data or Simply Everything plans. We eventually started running into accounts that had a special feature added on ($0.00) that would trick CSM into thinking that it was allowed.

So, the Serial number for 4G devices is programmed into the system to believe that they can't be added to certain plans (by way of feature etc.) There's probably a special code somewhere to add on to enable it, but no one knows it yet. How many people did you try?

I have tried about 3-4 different times including a few supervisors. The phone I was trying to activate I gave to a friend and he tried to activate it online and it gave him the same message but he called in and was able to activate it. I activated his LG Optimus on my line just fine without even the $10 premium data charge and I was able to do it online too. Now I'd like to find the best non 4G phone and maybe get that because we don't have 4G here so what's the point? I see the LG Marquee is probably the best non 4G smartphone.

Sprint SERO 1250 plan SWAP for SERO 500

    Hi there,

I have a Sero 1250 plan that I want to swap out for the cheaper Sero 500 plan.

Currently I have the plan with the additional $10 for a premium phone.
The account is slightly over half way through the contract and in good standing.

    Let me know any questions

    Thanks,
    Josh

I have two SERO plans available, both contracts valid until 10/13. One plan has the $40 SERO-P, and the other is the $50 SERO-P. I'm not sure if the $50 plan could be reverted to the non-"premium data" version to qualify for the $40 a month pricing.

Please email me (or PM, but prefer email) if interested with reasonable offers.
