Hi, I spoke with someone today regarding the unlimited vision. He said this means you can access your mail and surf the net. Picture/Video messaging is also unlimited. Sprint tv is not included, text message is not included. He was really surprised about the plan, he said he has never seen it before and he thought how great of a deal it was. I think so too. I wish I have company discount though, to save some more money (I am getting laid off).
ok im going to attempt to get in on this SERO... did you guys CALL to get in on the SERO, or use their website? if you did call what specific number did you use? also, did they ask any of you for a Sprint refferer ID#?
The unlimited picture mail as well as web access for free.. is it for the life of the contract or for only a month?
Larry, I'm a long time Sprint customer but currently not under contract and was hoping to switch to the SERO plan. If the SERO plan is still available can you provide me the info for a referral and any guidance on how I might go about switching to this plan? Thanks!
Brifla- I'll try to answer some of this for Larry. Getting onto the Sero plans without going through the normal route (new customer or new line with separate plan and through the website) can be tricky. It's a matter of getting the right rep on the phone, being polite and knowing what you are talking about Some have reported better success with business care reps and via email. There are way too many threads to read about this stuff on sprintusers.com but beware that your experience may vary. It could be worth the effort but realize that your patience will likely be tried in the process. I am also a long time Sprint customer and will be giving up the old $85 2000 minute plan and my old phone # for this Sero offer. My old plan is more than I need since the 6 pm nights became available. The inclusion of EVDO in the Sero offer is great, lack of text messaging is not. G.
Look in this thread http://forums.wirelessadvisor.com/sprint-pcs-users/13187-one-heck-deal-i-saw-online.html, it's a awesome plan for new sprint customers that they can get if they have a referal from an existing Sprint rep (just need their email address". I'm a new customer (got sprint yesterday) and I have been trying to get a Reps email...anyone email me at ajohnson187 at mail.com or pm me thanx I guess it has been a hassle to change to the plan, just read the threads, you'll see.
The SPRINT offer is not available for 87501. However, if I choose NEXTEL on the right instead of entering the zip code and email address for the SPRINT offer on the left, it does let me choose a phone and a plan. The bummer is that I am a NEXTEL customer already. However my contract expires April 3. Soooooo, can I somehow still get this. I really want one of these plans, darn it. : )
Since Sprint has completed their purchase of Alamosa PCS, I don't see why the SERO plan isn't available in New Mexico. I'm wondering if they are just slow to update their web site.
I emailed SPRINT SERO about this and this is the response I received: Thank you for contacting us about the Sprint Employee Referral Offer. The qualifying markets file listed on i-Connect will provide a list of all eligible markets for SERO by City, State and Zip. Affiliate territories are excluded from receiving this offer. If you attempt to sign up for the Sprint Employee Referral Offer from an Affiliate territory, the SERO website will provide a message to inform you that you are not eligible for the program. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require further assistance. Sincerely, SERO Program I am guessing this means that I can't sign up for this great deal.
All of a sudden 87501 IS in the zone. I tried to log in today and I actually got to the page where you can choose a phone and a plan. Woo hoo!
I hope someone can help with my problem... I am currently with verizon and my contract runs out April 27.. I just sign up with sprint through Sero program ( WHICH IS REALLY GREAT!!!! ) . Can I port my # over on april 28... When I spoke with the Sero csr they told me that I hade switch my number as soon as I get the phone... Is that true!!! Oh Yea I forget, the Sero csr told that it would cost me $200 if I didn't port my # within a week of recieving my phone....
That CSR you were talking to is full of crap. You can port your number over later. I did this with two separate SERO accounts. Call back and verify with a diff. CSR if youre not sure...
I just called *2 and got to customer service rep. I explained I spoke with an in-store rep and he told me about SERO. At first she thought I was talking about the $25 referral but then put me on hold to check. Came back and said no problem...welcome to SERO. easy as that.

are you guys POSITIVE that you keep your corporate discount? i currently am on a family plan (2 #s) and when i called to get switched to sero, the rep told me that i would for sure lose my corp discount but he would switch me. ??
You're not supposed to have any corporate discounts on the SERO plans. But sometimes things like that can fall through the cracks if you get lucky.
Larry i would love to get your sprint email address to enjoy this great offer. My contract is up in 1 week and am dieing to try this.
Larry, Can I get your sprint email address to for this Sero plan ? My contract with Cingular has expired. Thanks.
ok...noob here... So, what is the deal with these SERO plans and how do you sign up? I've heard rumblings but didnt know anything about them before I signed on to Sprint...Help please
sprint has said in their FAQs about the merger that you will not get charged an ETF to transfer from nextel to sprint or vice vera......you will not have to extend the contract but you will have to sign a brand new one
www.sprint.com/sero To sign up or view plans you need to enter a sprint employee e-mail address. If you need one send me a PM here and I will give you one to use.
larry, i just got the SERO plan added last night at 11:30pm. The first rep i called didnt have a clue what i was talking about, but i hung up and called the right back spoke with the rep, and he simply added it to my account. he did not ask me for a email address... is it possible for you to send me one just in case i need it thx
If this plan is still available, can you send me a pm with an employee e-mail address? It would be greatly appreciated.
No kidding. I'm always amused when someone thinks they should get something even less expensive than the SERO plans.
