The following occured back in 2003. Our 2 year Sprint contract was about to expire and Sprint called him to get him to resign. He only wanted a one year contract, but Sprint refused this. Sprint claims he agreed to another 2 year contract with a 5% discount. My husband denies this. When we refused to pay the bills (we had already switched carriers), they sent it to collections. My husband has asked for proof of this contract and Sprint refuses to send us any proof. Has anyone had an experience like this?
I have never heard of Sprint calling anyone to resign a contract. When my contract's have expired in the past I would just be on month to month until I voluntarily renewed to change plans or to get a discounted handset. As far as I can remember you could choose either a 1 or 2 year deal so I don't know why Sprint would have refused that back then. Why is something that happened back in 2003 (6 years ago) still an issue today?
