I'm a little surprised by this and would think their numbers would have been a little higher considering Sprint gained 1.8 million new customers in the fourth quarter from new iPhone activations. http://9to5mac.com/2012/02/08/forty...8-million-iphone-sales-were-to-new-customers/ Sent from my iPhone 4S using Tapatalk.
The iDEN fallout is still killing them. Until iDEN is dead (which appears to be 1-2 years away) they will continue to lose money. But subscriber numbers on the CDMA side of things keep going up. Iphone is helping.
True. I also think the fact that Sprint being the only major wireless company to still offer an unlimited data plan has helped them as well. Sent from my iPhone 4S using Tapatalk.
9,600 iDEN cell sites are going to be decommissioned this year. That will be a nice savings for the company.
Why would they continue selling them knowing that they will soon be doing away with that technology? It doesn't make sense to me. Sent from my iPhone 4S using Tapatalk.
^ Unless Sprint is planning on offering a free upgrade to their CDMA network, IMHO, they need to stop selling those devices. Sent from my iPhone 4S using Tapatalk.
All of us have work issued Nextel phones, they are intrinsically safe for use in hazardous locations, as far as I know it is one of a kind device. It will be interesting to see what happens when our contract is up
Didn't Verizon start up a service similar to Nextel a few years back? Maybe that will be an option if it's still available? Sent from my iPhone 4S using Tapatalk.
We have IDEN antennae on our premises, so I hope Sprint is planning to replace them with theirs. Otherwise Sprint coverage generally sux around here.
Ha! Ive been trying to get sprint panels on a water tower in town...for free to them....and they wont. My entire county has a few hundred laptop cards too. Good luck Charlyee :-(
Our company has 1500+ chirpmobiles. Hope that counts for something. Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk
