Well- Yesturday was a crazy day so my wife today went and got our mail and to my surprise there is a check from Sprint. I was like WTF this check was well over $100 in my wifes name cause that is what the last account with sprint was under. Well I have no idea why they sent me this money I ended up cancelling my account before the 30 days were up. When I did sign up I had the $100 invoice credit applied so I think that they added this among other things and when it was closed my account showed a positive balance. So hence they sent me out a check. Now here is the thing I never gave them any money and they are sending me money wow this is proof to me things in even the accounting dept are messed up. This is just plain stupidity. For those of you who think I am going to take this dont worry I am going to take it to the local Sprint store and give it back if they dont take it I will shred it. :loony:

Why do you think the accounting is messed up? You didn't owe Sprint money and they gave you a credit. They have to honor that credit, or else the books will not balance. Take the money!
They probably owed it to you. My wife got in a lengthy exchange with Sprint, trying to explain to them how they owed us about eighty bucks even though they had a bill for us on cancellation! We finally said "We don't care anymore, what do you want (check) to go away and never bother us again - it'll be worth it. A few months later we got a check for what they owed us, it was just a complete circus when cancelling..... clueless.
I'd keep the check I guess. The billing systems are so screwy right now with this whole conversion process... hearing this doesn't surprise me.
