Despite more and more comments from other providers, Sprint isn't a bad service if you think about it. Example: companies that offer roaming in your plan seem to charge you at a higher rate which means they truely do not have good coverage and you have to pay to use someone else's towers just to make a call. "They" also advertise for $99.99 you can get unlimited minutes, well for the same $99.99 with Sprint you can get unlimited minutes (with roaming included), unlimited internet, unlimited navigation and unlimited texting to any network...it is called the Simply Everything Plan and it is what it states. Now if the service is so terrible, they sure make up for it by offering this plan without renewing any current contracts to current Sprint customers. As for always speaking to another country for customer service, all cell phone providers do this from what I am told by employees whom work for other competitors of Sprint, besides when do people really sign up for service, just to speak to customer service? As for Nextell, we all have heard the rumor that Nextell is more than likely pulling out of Tri Cities, Tennessee pretty soon, if true, the solution is that Sprint/Nextell will port these customers to Sprint, get them new phones and not charge you a early termination fee if they just come into a local Johnson City store, which most people go to the one next to Super K-Mart since they have a technician during the week and can transfer your phone book for you (By the way...Thanks). Most people are happy and not so happy with any cell phone carrier, but besides what people go by in the paper or stock quotes, they really need to go by what works for them best at the best price.
