Sprint 3G started early?

    Someone on an alt.cellular newsgroup reported that Sprint has already turned on 3G services in his area. Now I don't believe this myself but maybe Sprint will be turning it on in some markets ahead of the planned July 4th rollout. I mean just because it's not supposed to go national until July doesn't necessarily mean that they won't start turning it on before then but just not publicizing it.

    Kinda like Verizon..............we are not going to launch it till the 15th...........but the system has been up and running for the last 4 months

    I wish they would let me test it with all the new phones thats coming out in the summer, now that would be sweet.
