Why bother to sue a company that has no money? Guess they have to get it in there before the inevitable bankruptcy filing?
The short answer is: It's probably not about the money. It's about protecting what Sony/Ericsson sees as their intellectual property. That said, honestly, I don't recognize either logo, so I personally would be unlikely to mistake one for the other. Also, they seem different enough that I doubt S/E has a case.
I do recognize SE logo since I see it on my X10 every time it boots up and with great animation. Having said that, I don't see them to be similar enough to get mixed up. Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.1-update1; en-us; SonyEricssonX10a Build/2.0.2.A.0.24) AppleWebKit/530.17 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/530.17
Bankruptcy won't happen. Sprint will just buy them out with help from its customers, thanks to the new $10 fee. :lmao:
Sorry Sony Ericsson, you people need glasses. Those logos look as much alike as an apple and an orange. Life is quite a challenge for Clear these days. No one wants to give them any more money, and now what little they have is being threatened (though minimally, IMO) by this stupid suit.
