Transferred 2 full length songs via MPT from PC to V3Mm a minute ago and they only show up in list of ringtone mp3s (Get Tunes & Tones) and not in "My Music". Can I and if so, how do I move them to the song area of the phones storage?

Edit - Can this only be accomplished using WMP?

Yea...MPT cannot access the "my music" folder = music. It only accesses the "audio" folder = ringtones. You can only use WMP to sync to the "my music" folder. It also automatically converts them to the proper WMA format for music. There is no way to transfer back and forth from phone to card.

I'm having the reverse problem. I want to use my songs as a ringtone but they're stuck in My Music. Apparently this is because I used WMP to transfer them....is there any free software out there that will transfer them to the audio folder?

Yea, WMP puts them into the 'my_music' folder...and there is NO way to move them in to the 'audio' folder for ringtones. Not that u would want to anyways...since ringtones should only be 30 seconds long. Also, MUSIC is converted to WMA format, where ringtones need to be MP3 or MIDI.

As for software, MPT is the only program that accesses the 'audio' folder properly to transfer MP3 ringtones.
