Here are some pictures I took on my wife's V600 on a recent trip to Sedona, AZ. I was pleasantly surprised with how well the pictures turned out. Of course, they don't compete with my 4MP digicam, but for convenience it can't be beat. I was a real camera-phone skeptic, didn't see the need for it, but I think I am converted now. Check out the Indian cliff dwelling ruins in the last picture - pretty amazing.
Looks great, i can even see the bird droppings on the first photo... but seriously, nice photo shooting...
See my report in the Western section.... here is the link. http://forums.wirelessadvisor.com/showthread.php?t=4537 Phones worked pretty well... when there was signal. Unfortunately, GSM was poor away from I-17. TDMA was strong throughout although much of it was really AMPS. I got good reception with both.
Nice Pics! I can't wait to see Sedona & Flagstaff. The V600 dose take a good picture for a camera phone.
Yeah, both my TDMA phone and my wife's V600 GSM do great in the Portland area, although I have never seen the TDMA phone with less than 3-4 bars while there are many areas where the GSM drops to 2 bars. While counting bars is probably not an apples to apples comparison especially between a Nokia and a Motorola, I am guessing that it may be due to PCS GSM overlay over cellular towers. Maybe with 850, things will become better.
=[ This kick's the "1.2 megapixel" V710's azz. =[=[=[ I'll just pray it's a software issue to be fixed in the coming week.
Do you have any shots of stuff in low lighting or indoor shots, this is where the V710 really sucks. I have seen some decent outdoor shots from the v710 and some indoor ones.
