Software Upgrade for T720

    Does this upgrade work for cingular t720 owners as well?

    No, each provider has their own features for the phones, so all of the software versions are different. You'll especially notice a difference in your software version compared to mine because yours uses a different technology completely to work on your network (ie mine is CDMA, yours is GSM I believe). Verizon T720's have had a lot of issues because they were supposedly rushed into production in order for Verizon to be able to compete with other providers in the color phone market, where Cingular, AT&T, and T-Mobile T720's have reportedly been a lot more stable. You should visit your local Cingular service center (not a kiosk) and ask them if there is a firmware (software) upgrade for your T720, or do a more extensive search on this forum.     Callison32: Yes, that is the most updated software version as of yet.

    Nicky: I don't believe Cingular has this update for its T720's as I don't believe they need it?
