    New York, NY (AHN)-Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. announced on Tuesday it expected to debut a new "personal live satellite radio product" later this month.

    Although it currently sells a handheld Sirius product, the current product does not let users listen to satellite radio if the device is not connected to a computer.

    Mel Karamazin, chief executive officer of Sirius, tells Reuters during a conference call, "Our personal live satellite radio product, Stiletto, is great. We have been beta testing it for a few weeks and we will have it available to consumers by the end of the summer."

    Meanwhile, James Meyer, Sirius president of operations and sales, tells analysts the company, which is under review from U.S. regulators over emissions from some of its receivers, is "expected to have greater clarity from the FCC shortly."

    I do like this concept, but the price tag $399 is on the high side. I guess I'll have to wait until the masses and/or time drive down the price. Does the price include the service?
