Share your Text Messaging usage!!!

I was on the 250 messages plan on VZW but I hit that limit in the middle of my cycle last month; VZW happily backdated my plan to the 500 messages and I haven't gone over. As of now, I used 700 messages total but 450 of them are m2m

 

Not that I would ever call you names, but without free incoming, isn't that 'Good morning' 3 messages? :lmao:

I suppose if the texting is as follows:
1. Good Morning
2. Thank you, good morning to you too.
3. Thank you.

But meessage #3 is optional

 

Now I can sort of understand the folks in the 500-1000 category, and we're certainly not here to judge or comment on anyone's lifestyle, but..... over 3,000? That's 100 a day, every day!?! 10,000?? - over 300/day!! - How do you find time to do anything else?

Also, not to be a stickler, but it looks like somebody didn't answer the poll.

1. Good Morning. Cold out today?/ Working hard? / Won the lottery yet?
2. Good morning to you too. Yes / No / Maybe next time
3. We're freezing here in WI / And we work on holidays / OK good luck next time

Then it's really not optional. :rotfl:

You know 500 messages is really easy to do. For example I only text with 6 people regularly. So taking your example of 3 messages to say "Good Morning"= 3x6x30 =540, yes I know not everry month has 30 days...

Well here is my 2 text conversation as of this morning with a WA friend:
He: It warmed up to 42 degrees here yesterday, and me without my suntan lotion.
Me: LOL, made it to 42 here also, today will be in the mid 30s.."

 

The age '38' should not have the word 'only' in front of it. That's why you hate texting. LOL!

 

HEY! I'm only 35! (At least the way I see it). Think about how the average life expectency has raised in the past few years. Now if someone dies at 60 we say they died "young", yet not even 100 years ago most people did not live that long.

My 70-year old mother texts a heck of a lot more than I do — and she doesn't hate it. Most of the times she sends me an SMS I'll call back

Sorry, but it did specify M2M is free and I don't think it meant that SMS was free.

Before he passed, my 77 yr old dad (MSEE, PhD Aeronautical engineering) could design a digital circuit system for a radar telemmetry and tracking system that would blow your mind, but he couldn't enter address book entries on his StarTac.

most know What m2m is. but thats ok.

 

I know what M2M is also. It's Mobile 2 Mobile. Nowhere does it say Mobile to Mobile CALLING.

Many carriers offer free M2M text, and seeing as this is a forum about TEXT usage it would only make sense for one to assume you were referring to TEXT.

You say I used to text more, but M2M is free. Had you said I used to text more, but M2M calling is free, it might've been a little more clear.

It's not like it was completely obvious, and I really don't appreciate you patronizing me the way you've been lately...

What is there to be lost about? What Ash said is very clear, the thread is about text messaging, we were all talking text messaging and you threw in M2M without mentioning that you were talking about calling not texting. The readers of your post were the ones who were lost and rightly so.

Nope she never implied that anywhere in her reply to you.

 

why dont you guys just admit you dont know what m2m is.
