    ok i just got my vx8600 flashed and they installed the new firmware but now how do i get to the service menu

    On many LGs you can type #HELP*HELP (which is #4357*4357).

    This is only the information menu. It isn't the same as the "service menu" that cw341 was referring to.

    Did flashing your 8600 help to resolve the text messaging issue that you were having?

    well i got it falshed yesterday and it seemed good all day yesterday and last night and just a little bit ago the front screen like froze up again and wouldnt shut off when i closed the phone so i had to take the battery out and re power and im not sure about the texting deal. ive sent a few and recived a few from verizon but ive sent 2 to my g/f whos on cngular and she hasnt responded so i dont know if she got them so im going to call her later and see if she got them or not and if she didnt im going back into verizon and telling them i want a new phone
