I am so tired of researching Wireless Providers! I've checked Verizon, ATT, Cellular One, Sprint and Cingular. I'm told different things at each store. I currently have Cellular One analog service but want to go digital to get in on the free nights/weekends (I have a teenager with a lot of LD friends). Verizon has CDMA; ATT, Cell One and Cingular have TDMA - although I am not sure of the difference. I want a plan that I pay a flat fee each month and am assured of service when I jump in the car and drive in either direction which I often do here in rural western MA, without roaming charges. Verizon Northeast seems like the best deal, but I don't seem to be in a service area... ATT doesn't offer here. Any opinions on Cingular vs Cell One?
I would go with Cingular since most of Cellular One was bought by Cingular. Fewer areas are covered by Cell One so their "Home Area" is probably smaller while Cingulars is larger.
Definitely Verizon! They are digital in almost all of Western Massachusetts, and they have better analog coverage. CDMA is also far superior to TDMA.
