Over the last couple of weeks, I've noticed that Alltel's service in the Valdosta area has been rather inconsistent. On a couple of occasions I've been unable to access the network at all, which is frustrating, but forgivable considering Alltel's otherwise outstanding service in this area. Recently, however, I've noticed a remarkable decrease in call quality, even in areas which previously had no issues. Now I'm wondering if there might be a technical reason for this, maybe there's work being done in the area, or equipment problems, or something. Overall, I couldn't be happier with Alltel, but the last few weeks have been kinda rough. Like most people, I rely on my cell not only for personal use, but for business as well, and it's beginning to affect my bottom line. Just wondering if anyone might know what's going on. Thanks in advance.
Alltel users are experiencing network connectivity issues in Dalton, GA switch markets. This is affecting call processing out of most of Georgia. *UPDATE* Ticket is still Work In Progress, the error is down to around 1%.
