Sero Plan email addresses

i used the savings one 2 weeks ago, and no problums.

 

I am considering the SERO program... I've been with Sprint just a little over a month. Is there anyone out there who works for Sprint who can a.) share with me the possibility of getting my current account switched to SERO (I heard you can't keep your current number) b.) who to call or where to go to get it switched and c.) a valid email address. Thanks in advance to anyone or everyone willing to help!!!

 

The only way I know of that you might be able to keep your number is to port to another carrier then port your number back to Sprint when you sign up for the plan.

Sprint has, in the past, allowed existing customers to switch to SERO, but required them to get new numbers if they wanted to do so.

You can try porting your number to a service like AT&T's GoPhone, then port it back to Sprint. Should work.

 

Thanks AnthroMatt. I'm guessing when I port my number out, they will hit me with the $175 cancellation fee?? Anyone had any luck with switching an existing number? I would greatly appreciate a Sprint employee sharing an email address with me... Also, can this switch to SERO be done online or do I have to call in? Thanks for assistance.

 

Yeah, they will hit you with the fee if you do it before your contract is up.

But they will hit you with the fee if want to switch "within" Sprint to SERO. And I don't think they credit it in that case either, unless you get lucky. Basically it's their way to try and keep existing customers from switching to the special plans that lower their revenue.

Got an email...Thanks Larry. But now, after I enter the email, the sero site just clocks and eventually times out. Am I doing something wrong?

make sure you are using internet explorer. firefox has some known issues with the SERO site. Welcome to WA, btw!

 

That's not the issue....I'm using IE 6.0.....

I guess I'll just wait and try from a different computer.

Does the commonly available email address "savings@sprintemi.com" still work? I am interested in SERO but haven't tried this one out yet (to order. I did gain access to the ordering site by using it).

from what im hearing the "savings@sprintemi.com" email doesnt work or even if it gets you into the ordering system it gets double checked and some instead of getting sero are getting basic 200 min plans that arent sero

Anthro Matt thank you my friend for coming through and giving me an email address I am going to send the referral your way. Also my friend says thank you as well I think they will enjoy what they are getting. Shoot if I didnt need M2M on Verizon i would be on there still.

 

I used to work for a vendor site, but they never provided us with a reasonable means for setting ourselves up on the SERO plan. I'd really like to get set up. If anyone still has a working email address to use I would really appreciate it. Great site here by the way. Lots of useful information in one place.

Sadly, if the address no longer works, it probably means they got laid off recently.

 

Or the web site is having technical issues. It seems to happen a lot on the SERO site.
