    Long story short,

I'm going out of town next weekend. I checked with my hotel about WiFi access and turns out they don't have any. Since I'll be needing an internet connection, I looked into, and was willing to pay 49.99, for the Sprint Phone As Modem service. I don't need anything permanent like a broadband access card. It looked like a perfect solution to my problem, and I could call and remove the feature next month.

So I called Sprint to add the feature. Phone As Modem. The rep advised me that there was absolutely no way to add it since I had a SERO plan. She said that any feature code she tried to enter would be rejected. Is this true?

I'm disappointed with this particular issue, but hey, I'm paying next to nothing for outstanding cell phone service. I can deal with it.

Well if Sprint won't allow you to add PAM, you could always buy a broadband card and return it when you are done (before the 30 day trial ends).

It is a bit dishonest, but since you tried and were denied the honest route, I don't see anything wrong with taking another approach.

I thought about it but it's really not worth all that hassle... It would have been really nice but it's not that important. C'mon Sprint, I'm trying to give you money!
