Is it possible to separate a family plan without extending any of the contracts. Or canceling them? I am on my parents plan still and need to be on one of my own. I still have a year left on the contract though. Also another question would be can I switch my number to another carrier and take over their contract and they switch and be put on my contract? If that made sense. My mother and I have AT&T and my father has Verizon. We both want to keep our numbers though. i should also add that both of these contracts are under the same persons name.
I'm not sure about your first scenario, but I believe it might be possible to do. As to the second. It appears you're mother is currently the primary line on AT&T and you want to have the primary line on Verizon? Is that correct? It's possible to do. First port your number out creating a new plan with Verizon. Then port her number in, converting to a Family Plan. You'll need a CS rep to help you with this. Keep in mind, you'll still be liable for any ETF's owed to AT&T.
Actually. i was trying to avoid early termination fees. We want to keep both contracts going just switch the numbers. Verizon number is now a 622 number and we want it to be my ATT 619 number.
