Screen Name Origins

Mine is pretty simple as well. JJ= Initials and Seminole just cause I'm an FSU fan.

 

i dont know if i told delta the whole story or not but here it goes...

one night at college when i should have been studying, i took a bunch of acid instead. needless-to-say, i ended up in the hospital losing my mind for 8 hours... i ended up moving home and switching schools to finish. i had to take the antidepressant, PAXIL in order to reduce the amount of acid flashbacks and reoccurrances i was having. my friends all said i was being a real DI#K while on PAXIL. So, with my name being Richard, and DI#K being a nickname, they started calling me Richard Kranium... DI#KHEAD, using the K in kranium as to not confuse me with an actual head. there have been many variations of this nickname.. some of them being Kranium, Head, P3NIS, and others. The 007 part of my screen name came from my being a headhunter for local bars and clubs, finding good bands to play thier venues.... Kranium007 - the head detective.

lesson learned... dont take acid after smoking too much hash. you WILL lose your mind. actually, i dont do any of that shizznit anymore. just drink like a fish on occassion and smoke lots of cigarettes.

 

What do you speak?? as matter of fact, I am one of those darm taiwanese ppl hahahahaa...... born there, but the country to me is now like any other foreign country since I was raised here.

My current bf is Canto.....and I am too lazy to learn another dialect at this age so he has to learn Mandarin. It's pretty funni when sometimes we get into heated discussion I hear him completing a sentence w/ Eng, Man & Canto at the same time....and made absolutely no sense....then I burst into laughter and put out the fire nicely.

 

My Chinese makes Chinese people run for cover... just enough to be able to order food in a restaurant and buy a cell phone in a shop in Monterey Park or Alhambra.

They tell me my tones are bad... I don't understand this, I speak Vietnamese pretty decently for a "nguoi bac" and has the same four tones plus two others...

oh yes...those Cell phone stores.....they are indeed everywhere in MP. Everytime I go there I see more new stores too....

Mine is obvous as well, but you will find me on every other site on the net as the username in my sig. It's a NASCAR think, 6 years ago Johnny Benson drover the #26 cheerios Taurus. So I signed up for an email account with that name and the rest is history....

 

I'm just plain out un-clever, so S stands for my first name, & the rest is my last name, but it looks like it is kinda being slurred if youve been drinkin too much. That actually makes it pretty clever I think...

 

I think this one earns the "best nickname aquirement story" award so far.

My love for video games made me use this screename.

BTW, I have been playing video games since i was 6 years old.

I speak Toisanese, Cantonese, Mandarin and Shanghainese.

Most of the original Chinese immigrants in NYC were Toisanese, so when I speak it in NYC, most ppl go "Ooooh, you talk like my grandma!!!" Arggghhhh

 

I'm all about China. They have great import selection and you can't beat $.05 for a flashlight that costs $40 here...

 

LOLLLLLLL, not to mention all the knock-offs you see on the street. Nike, Gucci, Prada, Guess, LV...........these days those expensive purses also come with serial # stamped inside the purse. I was told that those are Grade A knock-offs which is more expensive than the regular ones....

My screenname comes from the fact I live in Redwood Shores, CA which belongs to the city of Redwood City, CA. Redwood City is the county seat for San Mateo County and is located on the Peninsula 25 miles south of San Francisco. The Peninsula is the stretch of the Bay Area between San Francisco and Silicon Valley (Santa Clara County).

So I'm ShoresGuy since I live in the Shores and I'm a guy lol. Over on HoFo and a few other forums, I go by Triband81 since I use nothing but triband phones and I was born in 1981.

And as Paul Harvey always said: And now you know the rest of the story .

 

Screen name came from a online RPG. It just kinda stuck.
