Sanyo 5300 Keypad

    hey everyone! its a stupid question, but all the stores here in hawaii don't have any sanyo 5300 phones...some don't even know what they are. i just wanted to know what kind of keypad leds the phone has. i'm hoping they're blue like the A500.

    Hey bigmatz. I have the 5300 and the keypad leds are green. I wish that they were blue. It would look much better, but oh well. I love the phone, so I guess I can live with it.

    I know this is a very "nokia" thing to do to mod your phone, but anyone know about a possible way to open up the phone and change the lights? or will it simply not work. I know the thought of opening up a $400 phone is scary, just wondering if anyone out there might know about this.

    I thought about that too. I'm always leary on doing stuff like that, but I end up doing it when I hear someone else has done it successfully. Keep me posted if you hear anything and I'll do the same.
