Thanks for the info. I like the new main menu 3D-ish display. Im such a typical consumer, that i would get the phone just for that. Funny how they mentioned the ugly menu displays for the 5150. I dont think its as bad as they describe (especially compared to existing phones), but not that great either. One thing that im a bit dissappointed in, is the way the 4900 looks. Very plain [IMG] I think if Sanyo merged with samsung, the phones would be kick ___. Sanyo's quality with samsungs style.

I agree that I really don't like the looks of the 4900. I like the looks of the 4700 quite a bit better. I really don't like the new location of the speaker button, but I am sure glad that they made it full duplex this time around. That is the one thing I hated about the 4700 speaker phone-I would be talking to someone and when they talked they couldn't hear me. It looks like an overall good phone though.

You know, I've had my 5150 for about 6 months now. I can't stand the friggin thing. I REALLY miss my Denso TouchPoint 2200. That phone had it all.

Sure, the color display on the 5150 is nice, INDOORs, but otherwise, sucks. The ringer isn't nearly as loud as it should be. You can't assign a "default" number to someone. (IE, in the phone book, when you push "talk" on someones name, it dials the home number. You can't assign it to dial, say.. The mobile number as default.) And the part I miss the most, no folders for phone book entries.

I mean, it's not a horrible phone, but it's not grand either.

After playing with the 5350, the A500, and the 4900 for the last few days, my next phone will be a 5350. Now I just have to wait till the 11th to actually buy one [IMG]

    hahaha

dont even get me started on the denso 2200. How could you even compare it to the 5150?

FYI : I use to have the 2200. It doesnt work in places that the 5150 does.

There is not a camera for the sanyo 4900, but I know that their is for the Samsung. Go to sanyo.com and they have the usb data cable for the 4900 for 29.99.

Snap Sync software is now available for the 4900 at www.futuredial.com. You will need the sub cable from www.sanyo.com or the Sprint stores. It works well with Outlook.

The Sprint store only has the data cable in combination with software, for $70. Sanyo.com has the cable alone for $30, plus over $8 in shipping. The best deal I found for the cable alone was at futuredial.com for $30 plus $5 shipping.
