I loved the phone when I first got it, but now I'm having many probs.
The sound quality on it is horrible. It's so low somtimes I cannot hear the other person. It ranged crom call to call. Wen I'm in the car, I have to turn off everyting including the A/C and I still have trouble hearing.
The earpeice is no help. I'm mad that Samsung made the ear piece like this so you cannot use any other earpeice with it because of how the jack is made.
I love the design of the phone, but I ned sound quality. I dont know if it's just MY phone or the model. Also, this crappy Lithium Ion battery is almost dead after a hour. I didnt knoew you cannot leave it on the charger overnight or it slowly dies, so now both batteries dont keep a lasting charge for more then a few hours.
Also, I hate the way , when I turn the phone on, it takes almost 2-3 minutes before I can look someones # up, because the software is so slow in loading the programs on the phone. I'm thinking about going back to a basic old phone like Nokia 3390. It's very LOUD, ringtones and voice. It has AIM on it, I think, I do use the AIM on my phone a lot.
Anyone have any comments on the probs I am having, and any other flip phone that might be better in sound quality?

I know a person who has this phone with T-Mobile and have used it a few times and have been impressed by the overall qaulity of the phone, including the audio. I dont know how long you have had the phone, but you may try checking if any lint has made its way down into the earpiece. You'll probably have to carry it in to your local service provider to have this done. Your phone may also be defective. I have always used Motorolas, but have switched to either Samsungs, Nokias, or Siemens because of the qaulity.

Hmmmm, i don't seem to have any of the problems you are having. The sound is great, I have my set on medium volume, otherwise it's too loud. The batteries last a day or two.

When I power up, it does take about 20 - 30 seconds for my phone book to load, but I don't have any added games or other software on the phone.

I've had my phone for about a year and I still like it. Am considering switching it for a s200, whick is almost the same thing, but smaller, lighter and with better graphics.

Have your phone checked out for defects.
