Samsung N200 Web Alert Problem

I have a separate phone Samsung N200 phone that I have been using for awhile. Recently, (a couple of weeks ago)....I started receiving web alerts.
The plan I have for this phone is the free and clear plan, 300 minutes, free nights & weekends.
The odd thing is that web alerts keep popping up constantly about half an hour or so on my phone. I keep erasing the web alerts, but it keeps coming back. This also happens every time I turn the phone off and then back on.
I spoke to Sprint support on three different occassions and they have no idea what to do.
I don't want to log on to their web service to check the alert b/c I will then be charged for it. Is there any way to just turn off the web alert service so I can stop receving these notifications?
