    Nice find. That's a Samsung I wouldn't mind carrying. Unfortunately, it's pretty much a given that it'll be running SOME version of the VZW UI.

    If I didn't hate Samsung phones so much (because of my experience with the a790) I might be interested. It is pretty nice-looking, though.

    looks promising however im getting fed up woth verizon crippling their phones and putting in their own interface. i may switch back to cingular. their service here has gotten 100x better that 3 years ago....

    I've been thinking the same thing, although I'm curious to see if this Samsung and a couple of the newer CDMA Nokia models make it to VZW (and in what form). Either way, I think I'll probably bypass the V710 settlement, let my contract run out and test the waters in the fall.
