Ive read all the previous discussions pertaining to linking my s105 to my laptop via IrDA. Does the "port" have to be in "IrDA".....Its still offline..i tried for the umffteenth time and im about to put my fist through my laptop and phone. When I have the "port" in COM3....instead of "offline" at the bottom of the screen, I get a "nothing". Is that a good sign? I run on XP and a cable modem and yes i made sure i activated my infared on my cell. Any recent findings..suggestions? Thanx![IMG]

Try checking the baud rate for your IR port and for the COM port it is set to. Check these in your BIOS and in WinXP.

Make sure that XP has the port enabled.

Can you get the computer to recognize the phone without the EasyGPRS software? It should autodetect as a Samusung S105 then say it is a Standard Modem on IR port. Try to get the computer to see the phone without the software before using the software.

Also make sure that you are using version 2.0.4 of EasyGPRS. You can also try placing the phone IR about 3-4inches away from the computer IR. It should get the best data rate here.

I have the same problem, im using Easy GPRS 2.0.4 on a toshiba laptop with WinXP Pro.

Win XP recognises the phone as a Standard Modem on IR port no problem..

When i attempt to run the setup program in easy GPRS it just crashes so im not able to select the IrDA device.

Have tried putting the Samsung GPRS modem driver on and that doesnt help.

    Any idea's....?
