    Yes it's dimensions make it a hair larger than the RL2500 but that is just a rubber coating over the 2500. For me it is basically smaller and lighter than my 4900 which I do not like anymore so it will be just fine for me. I don't need a camera but I want SMS, speakerphone, and a phone that is a little more rugged since I cracked my 4900 1 week after getting it. Around the north and northwest suburbs of Chicago none of the stores have yet to receive the phone but it seems they all anticipate receiving the phone by Wednesday or Thursday of this week so I will be checking again on Saturday, 3/6, for its availability.

    Another attemp to compare with nextels workforce type rugged phones. i guess its a good thing but im not trading mine in for it..lol
