Google to Sell Wireless Service in Deals With Sprint Reuters Article: http://www.reuters.com/article/2015/01/22/us-google-wireless-idUSKBN0KV06G20150122
My concern is Sprint. Not good where I'm at. I also read that Google would offer plans using T-Mobile. Again, not good where I'm at.
KevinJames not good or not perfect...and are there places is one is good when the other is not and vice versa?
Here in my hometown, neither of those two get good service (as recounted by several acquaintances of mine). But even ATT doesn't get good service in the south part of town. ATT offered one whole community their microcell solution because they knew the service was horrible down there and didn't want to lose customers.
There's been numerous articles published about Google stating on Monday that they will start there own wireless service as a MVNO in the net few months. I guess I don't understand why they want to do this. Is it to test the waters and possible buy T-Mobile in future?
Seems like they are spending a lot of money for this test on the Nexus 6 only. When I am in France I normally get a Bouygues Telecom SIM card and my phone switches to Bouygues WiFi anywhere in France once it's set up to connect once. Bouygues has a lot of WiFi spots.
Certainly a possibility. Considering half the Nexus 6 devices are constantly sold out it doesn't look like it needs any promotion at the moment
