T-Mobile has started offering Regional rate plans in certain areas again.............. they offer a Central PA Regional package.... 49.99.......3000 minutes.....no nights and weekends but hell with all of those minutes who needs nights and weekends......no m2m either
Boston has a regional rate plan as well, it's been offered at least as long as I have been a T-Mobile customer.
yeah but i remember for a while that they stopped offering regional plans and i think they've only started offering them again in the past 6-8 months
The fine print: Boston Regional coverage area: Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island On the Boston Regional Rate Plan, all calls made from within this region to areas outside of the region will incur long-distance charges. Calls made from outside this region will incur long-distance charges as well as roaming charges. Calls placed within this region to phone numbers that are also located in this same region, are covered by the 3,000 minutes, no long-distance or roaming charges for these calls.
yeah.........i think mine covers: Pennsylvania Delaware Maryland Washington D.C. New Jersey same terms and same general plan
Where T-Mobile offers Regional Rate Plans, those appear to be perfect for someone who does not generally travel outside that local area and where the vast majority of their wireless calls are made to that local area.
yeah......its perfect.......although......it wouldnt be good for summer vacations........ i like to go places and those plans wouldnt be good for me.....
We offer one here in Minnesota too. It covers MN and Western WI. Roaming if you leave the area and long distance if you call someone outside the area codes in the area. I have hardly sold any of these cuz you can get a lot of free minutes with the right other plan. Now we have MyFaves too!!!
yeah MyFaves is good....but with the plan that im gonna get soon.....i wont really need MyFaves for the amount of time i talk the last time i talked......i used about 450 minutes a month......and i had unlimited nights and weekends......... the plan im getting is gonna have 600 mins so i can make it my primary line..and it has unlimited nights and weekends although i dont think that it has m2m.....they offer this for 39.99 the offer another package for the same price........1000 anytime mins.....no nights weekends or m2m......that plan i really dont need cuz i think i used about 800 minutes on the weekends alone.......that wouldnt end up working out too well.........
The Regional Rate Plans have been avail in every market that T-Mo serves for some time. What is unknown is whether the markets that offered free long distance are doing so anymore. They did so in markets where they felt threatened by Leap/Cricket, IMO. There was a pop-up that you could click on that would show that LD was 0.20 for the Regional Rate Plans and it listed the markets that were exempt. Now there is no listing at all. If you call Customer Service or a local sales rep asking about the Long Distance rate, you get conflicting answers.
no......def not.......i went with Boost Mobile for a couple months and I spent too much money too quickly...........its kinda like the difference between getting a text messaging package or paying per message...........the package is cheaper and you get more..........i actually ended up getting Sprint SERO and a RAZR as you can see from my profile and avatar.............and I am satisfied...........
