Razr v3m-wont sync with anything

Im using windows vista-32-.
razr v3m-verizon-prepaid
-have mpt 4.0(wont sync).
-got tons of drivers(none work)
-gettng verizon kit(s) soon.
- 1gig t-flash in phone.

basically,i turn pc, and razr on, plug usb in and right away vista recognizes it as v3, but usually wont find anyother drivers other than the modem(already installed).

Mpt does not sync wit it, it wont recognize it at all.

i cant transfer anything, to or from.

I know i sound weird, then again this is a common thing to see in new users.

I have had the phone for around 3weeks-1month now, and have tried what other sites Faq's say, but nothing works.

I just want to transfer files to and from, pc to razr.

Just tried updating mpt, i get"unknown error".

 

Damn thing wont work.
I have done the drivers for the modem, and its recognized as a modem, and nothing else?
also it installs mtp or somewhat drivers, and on my bar it shows mtp device and all, but nothing else?

Yes, i followed the threads instructions to a T.
